IGNOU Exams of 28000 students in 35 Colleges across Kashmir and Ladakh from 2nd December, 2024 to 9th Jan 2025

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts the Term End Examination (TEE) twice a year in the months of June and December. TEE December 2024 for its various Academic Programmes commences from 2nd December 2024 and will conclude on 9th of Jan 2025.  The IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar has established 35 examination centres across the Kashmir valley & the UT of Ladakh in which around 28000 examinees will appear for their examinations. Keeping in view the harsh winter, IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar has set up additional examination centres in Uri, Sogam, Qazigund, Dooru, Thindim Kreeri, Langate and Handwara for the benefit of the examinees hailing from those areas for appearing in the examination. One exam centre has also been established in Central Jail for Jail inmates. Hall Tickets have already been issued to the eligible students who had applied for appearing in the TEE December 2024 which are available on https://hall_ticket.ignou.ac.in/hall1224/ignouhallticketDEC2024.aspx.
The examinees must possess the Hall Ticket and valid Identity Card issued by the University to appear in the Examination. Mobile phones and any other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the examination halls. Regional Director Dr. A.H. Rizvi informed that the local administration has always been kind and cooperative for deploying the security personnel at the examination centres for maintaining law and order and the postal authorities by way of accepting the sealed parcels from our examination centres beyond their working hours. He also expressed hope for the fair and smooth conduction of the Term-End Examination December 2024 across the Kashmir Division including UT of Ladakh.
